Visit Tadoussac, Canada
With wildlife, historic villages and beautiful landscapes, today’s excursions set the scene for the variety of a voyage through the Canadian and Greenlandic Arctic.
As you chart a course northeast your journey brings you to the community of Tadoussac which was founded in 1535, making it Canada’s oldest village. Sailing through the St Lawrence Fjord you may spot fin, blue or humpback whales, though the region is also home to the white beluga whale so keep your binoculars handy as you stand on deck. If energy levels permit, you may like to step ashore to hike the Sentier du Fjord trail, an exquisitely beautiful trail that takes in some of Quebec’s most stunning landscapes.
