Each room enjoys views over a permanent water hole, situated next to the main lodge. Big game frequently heads to here for a drink, allowing for fantastic game viewing from the lodge. The main building has a comfortable lounge and dining area, and there's a lovely campfire where guests can gather for an early morning coffee or evening sundowners.

Elephants, buffalo, Kudu, Giraffe and Zebra are frequent visitors to the water hole and further down the road is the Mandavu Dam which is home to a large number of crocodiles and families of hippo.
