Zawadi Hotel Zanzibar is the latest addition to the Zanzibar Collection which comprises Baraza, Breezes and the Palms. Like its sister hotels, Zawadi shares a reputation for excellent service and delicious cuisine with lots of fresh seafood. The hotel is located on the south east coast of the island, enjoying stunning sunrise views and dhows sailing past on the horizon.
The lodge and villas are strung along the cliff and decorated in understated driftwood beach style, and with no dress code this is a place with an air of barefoot luxury and a relaxed ambiance. There are just nine villas, each spacious and enjoying beautiful sea views of the Indian Ocean and plenty of private space.
There is a pretty cove with a sandy beach just a few steps away. Here, even during low tide, there is always water in the lagoon for swimming and snorkeling. Water sports can easily be arranged, with boat trips for snorkeling or diving on the reefs nearby, sailing and kite surfing in season and there is a PADI Rising Sun Diving Centre on site.
With a minimum age of 16, adult guests at Zawadi are able to relax by the infinity swimming pool, in their own personal plunge pool, at the ocean-view bar and dining area, or with one of the spa treatments available in the privacy of your room's terrace which will definitely help to ease you into holiday mode!
