Highlights
Perfect for a family or a group of friends - Kiba Point is a private camp in the Selous Game Reserve; a totally exclusive retreat in the heart of one of the most game-rich areas
The combination of location, facilities and personnel is what sets this lodge apart from many others in the area
Each of the huge four suites has its own plunge pool, and there is a large pool in the main area, where you can grab an icy-cold beverage and sink into the comfortable loungers for an afternoon of relaxation
Also, what makes this camp so special is that you have your very own small team of guides and staff…so you decide what you want and when you want to do it!
This private camp in the Nyerere National Park benefits from being located not just in a wonderful game-rich area but also in one of the most beautiful locations imaginable. The four open-fronted stone cottages are raised to take full advantage of the river views and guests will love the excitement of sleeping in such close proximity to nature whilst being completely safe. Each of the four cottages has its own plunge pool on the room's veranda so in the heat of the day you can either cool off and relax there or use the swimming pool in the main mess area. The en-suite bathrooms are all fully equipped with everything you could wish for...hot and cold running water, indoor and outdoor showers and flush toilets.
For groups or families this exclusive camp is absolutely perfect, giving you your own safari experience where you can do game drives as and when you wish and spend the days however you please. All your activities will be totally exclusive, just you and your guide! As well as game drives you will have the option to go on thrilling safari walks, or hop into a boat and spend the days on the river, drifting silently down stream watching the game on the river banks. Another great way to see game is to relax on a sand bank in Stiegler's Gorge, enjoying breakfast, fishing, or simply relaxing in the shade of the palm trees watching the action on the lake shore. Of course the most exciting of all the activities is the fly camping. Sleeping on a sand bank with just a mosquito net between you and the wild can be an incredible experience, really making you feel like you're a part of this huge African wilderness.
