The 33,000 acre Lebombo Concession represents one of the few remaining unexplored territories of this celebrated wildlife sanctuary. The Lebombo mountain range runs diagonally across the expanse, interlaced by the N’wanetsi and Sweni Rivers. The area has a good density of game, including cats, elephants, abundant antelope and birdlife, as well as an incredible diversity of smaller animals.
Singita Lebombo has been built to create the ultimate ’wow factor’, raised high above the river, using light tones and open spaces. The 13 luxurious suites are constructed almost entirely of glass for a dramatic effect with vast living spaces, balconies with stunning river views and bathrooms with deep soaking tubs as well as both indoor and outdoor showers. A private villa containing two family suites is set apart from the main lodge for a secluded and exclusive experience. The suites connect to create a four-bedroom property which makes for the perfect family getaway.
Daily game drives offer the chance to spot a wide variety of game, such as leopard, elephant, cheetah and the lion for which the area is renowned, while evening drives let your discover the wonders of nocturnal Africa. Nature walks offer a safari experience from a new perspective, as you track animals and get up close and personal with the wilderness around you.
Indulge in the luxurious health spa, offering everything from the more conventional European massages to Ayurveda and acupuncture, reflexology and aromatherapy. Enjoy a massage in the spa treatment room, or in the comfort of your suite or private deck. For those who enjoy food and wine, Singita is also a unique culinary experience and has a comprehensive wine cellar. Your skilled sommelier will happily match wines to a tasting menu for you.
