TranzAlpine Adventure Day Trip - By Train and Road - Shared

You will be picked up this morning by your guide and driven to the train station to board the Tranz Alpine. This well known journey crosses the Canterbury Plains before climbing into the heart of the Southern Alps. You will arrive into Arthur Pass late morning and be met by your guide.

You will then be taken to explore the Arthur Pass National Park. Enjoy some nice walks through the National Park tailored to suit your energy levels. Depending on the weather, your guide will choose a picnic on the trails or at one of our favourite spots up the Waimakariri River Valley.

You will return by road to Christchurch in the late afternoon and be dropped back to your hotel.
