Hidden among the dunes of Erg Chigaga in the south of Morocco, Dar Ahlam Nomad Camp offers a private and unique experience. Set up as an exclusive camp, with just your private tent surrounded by the golden sands of the Sahara Desert, this is as secluded as it gets.
Around a five-hour drive from Dar Ahlam and the town of Ouarzazate, the Dar Ahlam Nomad Camp is well worth the journey. You'll be taken in a 4X4 over the Tizi-n-Bachkoum pass, through valleys and past gorges before stopping for a delicious lunch. Finally, you arrive in the desert, driving across the sand to the tents of your own private camp.
The billowing white tents at Dar Ahlam Nomad Camp allow guests to have the true desert experience, yet provide all necessary amenities. Beautifully decorated, the tents use local furnishings and products to offer an authentic Moroccan atmosphere. The tents are extremely spacious with a double bed, an en-suite bathroom, a comfortable lounge area with piles of cushions and Berber fabrics, as well as a private outdoor seating area offering views across the Sahara.
