Przewalski's horse, otherwise known as the takhi, is the world's last known species of wild horse native to the steppes of Central Asia and often sighted in the grasslands of Hustain Nuruu National Park. Re-introduced to the Mongolian steppe from zoo populations, there are now an estimated 400 roaming the reintroduction sites across Mongolia and China.
