Tulum Mayan Ruins

Tulum lies some 135 km south of Cancun and is spread out over quite a large area. The town centre, sometimes referred to as Tulum Pueblo, lies across the highway called Avenida Tulum through town, south of the Cobá junction. Tulum’s spectacular coastline, with its white sands and jade-green water, balmy breezes and bright sun along with a Maya ruin, make it one of the top beaches in Mexico.
This half-day excursion takes you to the archaeological site of Tulum, the only walled city the Maya built on the edge of the ocean. The ruins include a castle, a pyramid perched on a cliff high above the powdery sand. From here you can gain a fantastic understanding of this impressive city, once the size of Seville, as well as enjoy spectacular views to the sparkling Caribbean waters beyond.
