Situated a short drive from the ancient cliff-top Mayan ruins of Tulum, and right on a beautiful beach of soft white sand with the turquoise waters of the Caribbean beckoning beyond, Hip Hotel is a small beach retreat, whose 22 spacious simply designed rooms have an instantly relaxing feel. All have their own private terrace or balcony with a hammock on which to swing as you look out to the tropical gardens or Caribbean Sea.
There are plenty of relaxation areas. You can recline on beach chairs under a palapa on the sand, head for the beach bar and sip a margarita under the palms or enjoy a long al fresco lunch at the terrace restaurant. There's also a spa on the beach to help soothe your body and mind.
Guests can enjoy activities such as snorkelling, visiting the ancient Mayan ruins of Tulum or venture down to Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve where dolphins, manatees and turtles frequent mangrove-lined lagoons. A short drive away is Xel-Ha Water Park where you can enjoy a variety of aquatic activities including swimming with dolphins.
