Imposing, yet regally perched on a hill-top, this incredible 10th century property is deeply rooted in its historical and agricultural past.
Situated within 30 acres of olive groves, the estate produces some of the finest olive oil in Italy
Offers peaceful seclusion, yet is perfectly situated for exploring surrounding historical towns – with very easy access to Florence, San Gimignano and Siena
The hotel is super family-friendly, with plenty of activities on offer including cooking classes, truffle hunting, horse riding and cycling.
Tuscany has many beautiful properties, however, as you drive up the Cypress-lined lanes towards Belmond Castello di Casole looking out over vineyards, orchards of olive trees and rolling countryside dotted with stone farmhouses, you truly feel in a world of your own.
Nestled in the hills not far from the Renaissance cities of Florence, Sienna and San Gimignano, Belmond Castello di Casole is surrounded by 4,200 acres of its own private estate and comprises a mixture of beautiful suites, elegant stone townhouses and restored Farmhouse Villas each with dramatic glass tiled infinity pools.
Belmond Castello di Casole manages to offer a combination of luxury and yet charmingly rustic comfort within the restored Castello and original buildings of the hamlet. The 39 suites and townhouses are all different. The Limonaia Suites and Oliveta Suites are more contemporary in design and the Castello suites, Casa del Prete and Tinaia suites are decorated with a more rustic feel incorporating the beams and stone walls of the ancient hamlet.
The 16 main suites located in the Castello are beautifully appointed with antique touches that reflect the heart and soul of the ancient Castello which is also mirrored in the luxurious two bedroom townhouses. Most suites have stunning views of the Tuscan countryside, and all have complete access to the estate’s services and amenities, including the Essere luxury spa, pools and fitness centre, and casual and fine dining options.
Belmond Castello di Casole offers a choice of dining; you can either sample delicious Tuscan specialties with a twist inspired by Daniele Sera’s brilliant interpretation of whatever is in season at Ristorante Tosca or enjoy the combination of Tuscan delicacies with Venetian dishes at Cip's Club by Belmond Hotel Cipriani.
