Cycling Prambanan Village
This experience takes you first to the village of Kaliopak from where you will cycle to the Plaosan temple complex and Prambanan compound (the most exceptional Hindu complex in the country). Explore the grounds on foot and return to Kaliopak by bicycle.

Begin by cycling through the glistening green paddy fields from the village of Kaliopak to the temple complex of Plaosan. Filled with over 150 stupas and shrines, it is a delight to explore.
Next continue riding along to Prambanan, a temple complex which was made into a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991. This is the largest collection of Hindu temples in the country and is breathtaking to behold.
Hop back on your bike and cycle back to Kalipok where you can witness village life and meet local artisans producing shadow puppets. The practice of this traditional art form, know as Wayang, has been carefully preserved and is passed down through generations of families.
Enjoy lunch in Kalipoak before heading back to Yoygakarta.
