The ideal base for a trip to Courchevel, Chalet Carat is around a 20-minute walk or 3-minute drive from the prestigious shops, bars, and restaurants at the heart of the village. One of five chalets in the exclusive Domaine de Bellecôte, the chalets share an underground garage, with access from the lower ground floor. Spread over three storeys, Chalet Carat’s main living area is on the top floor, where guests can sink into the sumptuous furniture to enjoy mountain views, warmed by the blazing fire. The dining table seats up to eight guests and there is a high spec kitchen, ambient lighting and built-in Sonos system to create the desired ambience. This floor also includes a guest WC and children’s cosy bedroom, sleeping two under the eaves with an enchanting arched window and TV. The bedroom has a dedicated shower room, accessed via a small staircase.  
 
Located on the ground floor, the master bedroom features a seating area, access to a shared terrace, white marble ensuite bathroom and retractable TV, while the two other double bedrooms on this floor feature wall-mounted TVs, ensuite shower rooms with the same marble finish, with one sharing access to the terrace. The fifth bedroom is in a self-contained apartment accessed via the garage and includes a double bedroom with ensuite shower room, living room with Smart TV and a kitchen/dining area. This room is perfect for teens, overflow guests or staff. Wi-Fi is available throughout the chalet and all bathrooms include robes, slippers, amenities, and hairdryers. 
 
The stylish wellness area is on the lower ground floor featuring a white marble indoor pool, sauna, and relaxation area. There is also a bar and cinema room. Accessed via another small stairwell is the wine cave, further guest WC, storage room, laundry room and ski room with heated boot warmers. 
Chalet Carat is available on a self-catered, bed and breakfast or fully catered basis. All guests enjoy a concierge service prior to and during their stay, as well as in-chalet ski and boot delivery service. Catered guests also have the benefit of a complimentary ski instructor for the first two days of their stay, and a dedicated in-resort 4 x 4 driving service from 8am to 1am. Alongside this, there is a daily cooked breakfast and six days a week (the staff have one day off) afternoon tea, pre-dinner champagne and canapés, four-course dinner, early children’s supper, evening turn down service, complimentary house wines, beers and soft drinks and a complimentary drinks tray.

Along with easy access to the Bellecôte piste, the Pralong chairlift is at the top of the road 500m from the chalet. For those arriving by helicopter or private jet, Courchevel Altiport is a 10-minute drive. Alternatively, Chambery Airport is 1.45-hrs and Geneva and Lyon Airports are both around a 2.5-hr drive.
