Embark on a day trip to Suzhou, a city renowned for its elegant gardens and traditional waterside architecture. Walk along the Humble Administrator's Garden with its Ming Dynasty building style which features a natural water landscape with a small lush forest, hills and rock formations. Continue to Pan Gate, the oldest city gate of Suzhou with water and land entrances.
Afterwards, visit Suzhou Museum whereby the new exhibition building was designed by world famous architect I.M Pei with elements of modern and classical garden architectural styles and opened in 2006. Explore the huge collection of over 30,000 cultural relics in the museum. End the day at Suzhou's No.1 Silk Factory that is nearly 100- years old.
