Today, we head to Qinghai Lake, China's largest lake with abundant fish lives, which attracts many species of birds into the lake, making it a confluence of several bird migration routes across Asia. During summer, ten thousands of birds arrive in the area.

Surrounded by high mountains with pastoral grasslands, you can enjoy time in Qinghai Lake to admire its beauty as you cruise along the lake. You will also hike for approximately 1 hour in the Er Langjian Scenic Area.

On the way to Qinghai Lake, you will make a stop at the Riyue Mountains (Sun and Moon Mountains) with the unique Daotang River flowing at the foothill of the mountain. Afterwards, we continue to the Ri and Yue Pagodas. Both pagodas were built during the Tang Dynasty to celebrate the marriage of Princess Wencheng to Tubo.

Returning into Xining, you will visit local Tibetan families along the way.
