Ramon's Village Resort
Nestled amongst tropical gardens and mere footsteps from the warm waters of the Caribbean sea, you’ll find Ramon’s Village with its Polynesian style wooden cottages, plethora of water based activities, lip-smacking seafood and moreish frozen margaritas!
Highlights
-
This is not your typical concrete resort…nestled amongst tropical gardens and right on the water’s edge you’ll find Ramon’s Village with its stylish wooden cottages, thatched roofs and a nod to the Polynesian island of Bora Bora
-
Whether it’s swimming with nurse sharks or manatees, snorkelling or diving through coral reefs, deep sea fishing or a sunset cruise - the on-site dive shop can organise it all
-
Seafood and especially lobster is abundant in the area and the creative team here in the kitchen will delight your taste buds with their take on local specialities as well as classic dishes too
-
With a tropical cocktail in hand and powdery sand beneath your feet, enjoy the gentle rocking of your hammock whilst gazing out over the lapping waters of the Caribbean…this is surely what holidays are all about!
Located in the bustling village of San Pedro, Ramon's Village is in the heart of all the action on Belize's busiest caye. Rent one of the eco-friendly golf carts and explore the town at your own pace, or simply hide away in the peace and quiet of the hotel for a few days of relaxation.
Ocean adventures are what Ramon's pride itself on. Embark on different snorkelling trips, some of which showcase lots of types of fish, others which include swimming with nurse sharks and others that even include a spot of fishing. Guests can even head out on sailing cruises, bird-watching excursions, glass bottom boat trips or head to Caye Caulker for an hour long snorkel with Manatees.
Accommodation is simple yet tasteful. Colourful in decor, each thatched cabana is comfortable and private, with the provisions of modern amenities and a private decking. The beach-front accommodation is our favourite, as you can quite literally walk out of your room and onto the beach. If you're travelling as a family, the jungle cabanas are best as they are a little larger. Whatever your preference, Ramon's caters for all visitors looking for a mid-range beach hotel.
