Comprising just seven individual cabanas which are spread around a picturesque private island, Cayo Espanto offers a perfect Robinson Crusoe style experience, with powdery-white sand flanked by tropical vegetation, leading out into the bluest of Caribbean waters.

This is a fantastic option for diving enthusiasts or those looking to enjoy a beach break in total privacy, with each cabana boasting private seating areas which open out onto fabulous sea decks, where guests will find freshwater plunge pools and alfresco showers. Cabanas are rustic in style yet furnishings are luxurious with hardwood floors, Egyptian cotton bedding, air-conditioning and ceiling fans, WiFi, TVs and iPod docking stations. Villas are provided with personal staff to take care of all meals and housekeeping, with menus changing daily to suit your preferences.

Whilst there is a big focus on relaxation at Cayo Espanto, it's impossible to ignore the sparkling ocean which surrounds, a perfect playground for adventures. Diving here is world-class and trips can easily be arranged to the world’s second largest barrier reef, home to a dazzling variety of underwater life. The reef’s beauty and richness has put Belize among the top 10 dive destinations in the world. For those that don't dive, this is also a fantastic destination for snorkelling and fly fishing. Non-motorised watersports are included in your stay, including the use of kayaks, pedal boats and sailboats, whilst jungle trips and tours of Mayan ruins can be added at an additional charge.
