The Austrian Alps are the kingpin in this country with its first class skiing and beautiful mountain villages. St Anton is just one part of the awesome Arlberg ski area which is linked with Lech and Zurs. The excellent snow record combined with such an extensive area means it should be high on the list for any good skier.  Have a beer at the lively Mooserwirt bar in St Anton, famous for its great après-ski scene, it is full of people from lunchtime to the late evening.
