Your Free Time at Sal Salis - Scott Dunn Suggests

During your stay at Sal Salis, we would recommend donning your snorkelling gear to explore the beautiful Ningaloo Reef, which is known as one of the best places to see and swim with manta rays and whale sharks (dependent on the time of year). Ningaloo is also a major breeding area for hawksbill, green and loggerhead turtles, which are seen daily at camp. Guided kayaking trips are also on offer and a great way to explore the reef.
On land, we would recommend going on a guided walk through the Mandu Mandu Gorge where you will learn about the Aboriginal settlements that used to live here. Then, after dinner, make sure to look up to admire the stars and constellations; with practically no artificial light pollution, this is the perfect place for stargazers.
