Spicers Hidden Vale offers an elegant, nostalgic and charming experience set on a country farm – without compromising on luxury.
Deluxe country-inspired accommodation is located in colonial-style cottages within close walking distance of the restaurant and all facilities. The cottages (some of which date back to the 1920s) are elegantly restored buildings comprising of 1 to 6 bedrooms. All 31 rooms and suites have private or shared verandahs and breathtaking views of the picturesque Lockyer Valley.
Enjoy one of the many activities on offer including 4WD tours, horse-riding, bushwalking, cycling, archery, swimming, tennis and croquet. You can even take time out to hang out with a chicken, goose, donkey, goat or alpaca in the animal nursery. Or enjoy a professional massage, facial or body treatment in the cottage day spa.
If you’re keen to see the region, nearby Toowoomba and the Darling Downs offer something for everyone, from boutique wineries, stylish cafes and heritage exhibitions to rugged national parks, spectacular lookouts and grand old hotels. For the adventurous, you can experience the region from a different perspective embarking on a four-wheel drive tour or even skydiving, while for those who prefer a more relaxed pace there is a vast array of markets and country drives.
If you'd like to explore further afield, just over two hours away is the Granite Belt, Queensland’s premier wine growing region with over 48 boutique wineries as well as an abundance of fresh produce and gourmet foods waiting to be discovered.
