While I am a proud Brit, my family's roots (several generations back) are in Naples perhaps explaining my love of Italy. My honeymoon was in Rome followed by a tour along the amazing Amalfi coast. Some other favourite are Florence, the Ligurian coast (home to my favourite olive oil) and Sardinia.
High on my list to visit are Siena (my daughter is called Sienna!), Bologna and completing the Sellaronda in The Dolomites. I have also spent a significant time in France - studying in Toulouse, chalet hosting in Meribel and working in Paris. All incredible life shaping experiences. I feel so lucky to now, in this role, help my guests make their own European memories.

What can you not travel without?
I love sport and keeping active. So I am very proud of my smart beach bat and ball set that always gets packed when visiting one of our Mediterranean hotels.

What is the best hotel you've ever stayed at and why?
Portrait Milano Hotel - a stunning renovation of a Baroque seminary creating a vibrant and contemporary hotel reflecting modern Milan.

What's the best thing you've ever brought back from your travels?
Quite a simple and traditional ceramic olive oil dispenser decorated with Amalfi lemons bought on Capri while on honeymoon.
