The area on which Bomani is built used to be a lake which, over time was submerged by the Kalahari sands from the west. Today, natural water pans are dotted throughout the plains, hence creating an ideal habitat for the bounteous wildlife living in the area.
The main lodge at Bomani overlooks the Bomani pans, creating a spectacular viewing platform for guests when they are dining or having evening sundowners as giraffe, elephant and zebra wander across the pan. Guests can choose between two locations for their luxury tent, four of the tents, and the thatched bungalow are at ground level and five of the tents are situated high up on teak platforms. All of the tents have fantastic views over the plains and all have en-suite bathrooms.
