Best time to Visit
Good time to visit
Average time to visit
San Diego and Palm Springs have a year-round climate. Summer (June - September) is the peak-tourist season in San Diego, Los Angeles and Laguna, this is when the weather is at its hottest and the cities can be over crowded. Palm Springs is busiest in Spring or Fall where the weather is temperate.
If you are visiting in May or June watch out for the 'marine layer', a cloudy overcast, almost fog-like cloud which may affect the beach and first mile or so of the coastal strip, especially in the mornings.
For less crowds and sunny days, March and April are super, as are September and October, although the summer months in between are ever popular due to the perfect summer climate.
