I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here - the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed which is perfect after a day of exploring the surrounding area. It is in a great location, very close to the Ananda Temple and many other stunning pagodas. The hotel is situated in lush tropical gardens and the pool is extremely inviting as Bagan is known for its warm dry climate year round. The Deluxe Rooms are spacious and each have a small terrace, with a couple of sun loungers which despite not being very private are a great place to relax in the warmth with a good book.

I think this may be my favorite hotel in Bagan! It's the best located for exploring the pagodas, has a really nice swimming pool and is also reasonably priced. The nice thing is that you have a little sitting area outside the back of the room with a sun lounger (not private though) for times when you just want to relax after all the culture! The bathrooms aren't huge but the hotel is comfortable and the food is good.

This property has a delightfully Burmese feel to it, best enjoyed from your sun-lounger at the gorgeous swimming pool, surrounded by elephant statues and jungle like greenery. The rooms are simple and attractive, but are not necessarily the most luxurious. The Deluxe Rooms have a small terrace area, which while not that private, boast two sun-loungers. The atmosphere of the property is wonderful relaxed and laid-back, so it is a great place to rest after time spent sightseeing.

Bagan is a very dry and arid area of Myanmar but the Tharabar Gate felt like it was in an oasis surrounded by lush green vegetation and the perfect place to settle into after the days exploring this incredible temple complex. The pool especially was such a welcome sight nestled within what felt like a jungle - it was beautiful.
