Weather-wise, the best times to go are spring and autumn, when temperatures are 20°C to 25°C by day and at least 10°C by night, and November to February, with cooler nights but similar daytime temperatures and light rainfall possible. The weather in March and April features sporadic, light rainfall with some sandstorms in April, while June sees dusty siroccos (desert winds). From mid-June to August temperatures rise into the 30s and occasionally 40s.

Fly to Casablanca
Casablanca, Morocco
The adventure starts in Casablanca, Morocco's most cosmopolitan city. While Casablanca is more similar to western cities, its greatest landmark is the Hassan II Mosque, one of only two mosques in the country that non-Muslims are permitted to enter, and a truly magnificent building. Spend your time exploring the mosque and the compact medina to discover that there's more to this city than its famous name.

Chefchaouen, Northern Morocco
Venture north to Chefchaouen, Morocco's blue city, and certainly one of its most picturesque. Wander through the winding streets of the city, where the Andalucian architecture boasts vibrant blue walls and red-tiled roofs, creating a delightful atmosphere. Explore the old medina where the main square, nestled beneath the Rif Mountains, is the perfect place to stop and watch the world go by.

Fes, Morocco
Continue on to Fes, the former capital of Morocco and its oldest imperial city. This is where visitors find the authentic, traditional Morocco, where donkeys still rule the streets in its labyrinthine medina. Here you'll be able to watch daily life unfold at the city's famous tanneries, uncover ornate palaces and visit beautiful Islamic gardens. You'll also have the chance to discover the flavors of Fes with a local food expert, tasting local delicacies and traditional Moroccan dishes before your journey continues on to Marrakech.

Marrakech, Morocco
The most visited city in the country, Marrakech is a whirlwind of musicians, acrobats and traders in the souk, where a variety of sights, smells and sounds entice the senses. Learn about Marrakech's fascinating history as you visit ancient landmarks such as the Koutoubia Minaret and Bahia Palace and enjoy getting lost in the maze of winding alleys in the medina. After sampling delicious Moroccan cuisine in Djemma el-Fna Square, why not try your hand at bartering as you inspect the intricate detail of the local handicrafts.

Asni, Atlas Mountains
The final stop on your Moroccan adventure is the Atlas Mountains, home to breath-taking scenery and traditional Berber villages. Spend a day with the Berbers, learning how to bake bread and cook a delicious meal in the traditional method. You'll have the chance to spend time with these friendly and fascinating people before relaxing, enjoying the views and finishing your journey in style.
