Average time to visit
It is very difficult to predict the weather in the United Kingdom - in the summer from May to late September is generally seen as the most pleasant time to visit. Rainfall is difficult to predict - but the UK does not receive as much as many are led to believe! In the winters, temperatures do fall, but there is nothing better than finding a remote pub with a roaring fire to sit beside after a long walk in the country.

Sierra Obermark (Staff)
Just a short walk from the center of Inverness lies Ness Walk. This boutique hotel blends modern style and amenities with the old school feel of a traditional home. The staff are fabulous; from the moment you enter the hotel you are welcomed and waited on hand and foot. The food is an experience here, the chef has trained the world over and brings elements of various food cultures into the dining room. The hallways and rooms have clever touches that reference the nearby landscape features, like the "river flow" carpet. The central garden courtyard has views over the River Ness framed by native trees to create an atmosphere of being in nature, despite being so close to the city.
