Rafting on the Rio Grande

Your private driver will take you through local villages and lush green vegetation to reach the jetty where you will board your traditional bamboo raft with your captain who will guide you along the Rio Grande, originally set up to export produce, especially bananas from the interior of the island. You will pass through bamboo and banana groves and meet friendly faces on the way continuing their everyday life of fishing, washing clothes and children swimming. Complete the day with a riverside cook out with a local lady who will keep you entertained with Jamaican folktales.
