Travel has always been a great passion of mine, from trekking in the Namibian desert to sunning it up on the beaches of Southern Thailand and exploring exquisite Italian cuisine I have always believed that there is no way to better spend your time than exploring what the world has to offer!

For as long as I have been able, I have spent as much time traveling as I could possibly manage. Europe offers a vast variety of activities suited for everyone from romantic boutique hotels in Venice to action packed water sports at Eagles Palace in Greece.

Travel nuggets

  • Next time you find yourself in Venice grab a nice bottle of something sparkling and head down past the Punta della Dogana in the evening to see the lights of the city in all their glory!

  • By far the best way to explore the Turkish coast is by Gulet, with crystal clear waters and beautiful coastlines it’s an adventure not to be missed.

  • Balloons over Bagan, Burma. No better way to see the countless Pagodas dotted around Bagan than from the vantage point of a hot air balloon the crack of dawn!

  • Fancy a bit of a party? Look no further than Cologne during carnival season, when an entire city appears in fancy dress you know you’re in for a good time!

  • Marrakesh is the best place to experience a huge change in culture without having to fly to the other side of world. For the best experience, the smells and colors of Souk Smata is a must see!

My hot picks

El Fenn, Marrakech Medina, Morocco

Tucked away down an unassuming ally in the heart of the city sits this jem of a hotel. The roof bar is the perfect place to enjoy a cold drink on a hot day!

Lefay Resort, Lake Garda, Italian Lakes, Italy

With beautiful views of Lake Garda there is no where better to have some well-deserved R&R.

Thurnhers Alpenhof, Arlberg, Austria

The perfect spot to hit the slopes from sitting at the foot of some of the best powder in Zurs!
