Three Rivers Camps is located in the confluence of Luangwa, Luzangazi and Kapamba Rivers. Located in the south end of the park where the area is teeming in wildlife. This intimate camp has just five spacious tents, decorated with natural materials and colours while the large windows offer spectacular views across the Luangwa River. Each tented room has its own wooden deck allowing guests to enjoy the surroundings at their own leisure. Each guest room also has its own private elevated platform connected onto the tent for easy access during the day or night, here guests could spend days enjoying the scenery or at night watch the stars and being immersed in the bush.
The main activity is walking safaris and the chance to explore the bush on foot is outstanding. Walk in small groups, escorted with an armed official wildlife scout and experienced guides. This ensures your safety and gives you an exciting, educational view of the bush at ground level. Encounter elephants, buffalo, giraffes and particularly high numbers of big cats – there is plenty to see. Safari activities will take place in the superb area around camp which is dotted with lagoons in the South Luangwa National Park. There is also the opportunity to go on game drives in the area.
The camp is the only safari operation in the area so you can be assured of a private safari in the pristine area. Dining is a grand affair and dinner is served at a hosted table. It is the perfect place to absorb the stunning location and while darkness falls you can enjoy candle lit meals under the vast African sky.

Game Drives in the South Luangwa
Game drives are the most common way of exploring the African bush. A vehicle allows you to cover distance quickly and comfortably and offers visitors the best opportunity of getting very close to wildlife in a safe and controlled way.
Night Drives
If you get the opportunity to head out after sunset you should take it. The bush transforms under the cover of darkness as the nocturnal wildlife gets going. Using a spotlight your guide will scan the bush for eye-shine picking out some great action.
