"Tengile" translated means tranquil and this lies at the very heart of the design of this brand new contemporary lodge in the well known Sabi Sands Game reserve.
Elegant interiors, intimate spaces and open air decks for group gatherings offer a comfortable and contemporary setting, along with maintaining the traditional safari lodge feel. Sustainability is of integral importance to this new lodge's design and function and therefore environmentally friendly construction materials have been selected along with the use of solar power, contributing towards an efficient and environmentally friendly lodge.
Nine floating spacious suites follow the curve of the river bank. Raised above ground level, each suite not only boast fantastic views out over the river, but a private sunken outside lounge area, a spacious private deck and your very own private lap pool to cool off in between game drives. The elegantly designed suite offers bedrooms and bathrooms that open out into the forest creating personal outside spaces, and the living space can be converted to an additional smaller room for children that are welcome to the lodge over the age of twelve.
When you are not participating in morning and afternoon game drives, or getting close to nature on fascinating bush walks, you are able to relax in the lodges tranquil spa and gym where there are a range of indulgent treatments to choose from.
