A Taste of Lima

The excursion begins with a walk on a specific route through the centre of Miraflores, passing a number of the city’s most recognised eateries along the way. You will able to meet with vendors and try any of the exotic fruits on display.
Take in the busy atmosphere and mix with the locals as they purchase the days' goods. This market is a known stamping ground for some of the city’s most innovative chefs, in search of the their next flavour combinations. The chef will then head off and you will remain in a stand of "El Cevichano" to try one of the most representative dishes of the Peruvian coast: a Ceviche accompanied by a glass of Peruvian wine.
You will then take a short drive over to another notable culinary destination: the San Isidro Market, where you will make a special visit to the renowned father and son team of fish vendors, Abel and Eduardo, whose stand has been mainstay for nearly two decades. They offer the most selected variety of fish and seafood being some of their main clients, ambassadors, consuls, politicians, and famous TV people.
The last stop will be Chef Gonzalo’s kitchen classroom where you'll enjoy a comprehensive lesson on making a Peruvian meal and a Pisco Sour. Chef Gonzalo is not only a food lover, but also a lover of Peru, and there is nothing that he loves more than teaching his craft to those who are interested. At the end of the morning you will enjoy the delicious meal that you have prepared yourself.
