Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Bawah Island have tropical weather patterns, without extremely high temperatures. Days are very warm and often humid, while nights are fairly cool for this area of the world.  Although there’s rain through the year, March to April and September to November are the wettest months.

Through this epic itinerary, you'll be able to enjoy the buzzing city of Bangkok and spend three luxurious nights on the Eastern & Orient Express as you venture in style through Malaysia and Singapore before unwinding at one of the most exclusive and beautiful island hideaways in Asia.

  1. Days 1-3: Bangkok

Start the adventure in the sprawling cosmopolitan city of Bangkok. A city that never sleeps and where the options are endless. Visit some of the countries sensational statues and temples including the famous Golden Buddha or explore the riverside markets and floating villages as part of a river cruise.  With a huge variety of accommodation on offer as well as everything from street-food market to Michelin star restaurants and even one of the world’s highest bars – Bangkok offers something for everyone.

    Accommodation: The Siam (2 nights)

  2. Days 3-6: Bangkok

Next, board the elegant Eastern & Oriental Express where you can watch the world go by from the observation car, relax in your own luxurious private cabin or indulge in a cocktail or two at one of the train’s bars. The cuisine on board is divine and the perfect way to round off days of exploring the villages and towns at the various stops along the route. Journey from Bangkok through southern Thailand before crossing the border into neighbouring Singapore. On arrival in the island state you will be met off the train and taken to your city home for the evening.

Accommodation: Eastern & Oriental Express (3 nights)

  3. Days 6-7: City Centre

One of the cleanest cities in Asia, Singapore prides itself on its vast array of activities and sites from the historical China town to the unparalleled shopping provisions along Orchard Road.

Accommodation: The Fullerton Bay (1 night)

  4. Days 7-12: Anambas Islands, Indonesia

From Singapore you'll travel to the city's ferry terminal where you'll take a boat across to Batam in order to connect with Bawah's seaplane to the Reserve. As the only way to reach this tropical paradise, you'll really feel that you have left the world behind. As a collection of six tropical islands, there is plenty to keep you entertained here from exploring the dense tropical jungle to exploring the many hidden lagoons and coral reefs. After five blissful nights here, you'll transfer back to Singapore in order to meet your international flight home.

    Accommodation: Bawah Reserve (5 nights)
