Hakkoda Hotel

Just on the edge of Towadako National Park, Hakkoda Hotel is the ideal choice for skiing, snow-boarding or exploring the wonderful mountain scenery. The hotel is located on the slopes of Mount Kushigamine and is just a 10-minute drive from Hakkoda ski slopes and provides a free shuttle service to and from the mountain cable car. Built in the style of a European ski chalet with lots of wood and natural materials, the hotel provides a range of comfortable guest accommodation, has both a French and Japanese restaurant and offers hot spring bathing, ideal at the end of a day’s skiing or hiking. There are three types of room available: standard-style rooms; duplex rooms with a living area and an upstairs bedroom on a mezzanine level and family rooms which include bunk beds, separate living area and small kitchenette. Standard amenities include Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, seating area, flat-screen satellite TV, workspace, fridge and kettle. En-suite bathrooms include bathtub, shower, toiletries, hair dryer, robes and slippers. Non-smoking rooms are available. There are two onsite restaurants serving either high quality Japanese kaiseki multi-course cuisine or equally good French cuisine. Breakfasts include both Japanese and Western options. Please be aware that there are no grocery stores or alternative nearby dining options available. Guests can relax in the hot spring baths after a day on the slopes or exploring the wonderful scenery.
