Perched on a lush green outcrop on the Costa Smeralda, the Hotel Romazzino is set on one of the finest beaches on the island. A star-shaped, white-washed retreat set in lush landscaped gardens, with beautifully styled rooms, suites and private villas. The spectacular villas are cleverly designed to offer maximum privacy yet ample communal space, with living room, dining area, extensive private pool and solarium, perfect for families and friends to share.
The Romazzino’s location and facilities are ideal for sports lovers, with watersports including paddle boarding, kayaking, windsurfing, fishing, diving and horse riding and the Pevero Golf Club only five kilometres away. Families are particularly welcome at the Romazzino and are treated in true generous Italian style. The Toy Club offers some of the best childcare in Sardinia, looking after children between three and seven years of age, and organising activities for children up to 12 during the peak summer months. The main restaurant at Romazzino offers the best in both local and international cuisine, all of which are prepared using local ingredients where possible. With a large terrace and stunning views of the Costa Smeralda, it is the perfect setting for both breakfast and dinner.
For something less formal the alfresco Barbeque Restaurant, set in the glorious gardens of the hotel, creates tempting lunch buffets of fresh seafood, sumptuous pasta and homemade pizzas each day.
Guests booked on full board can also enjoy a change of scene and take one meal a day (as part of the Dine Around Programme) and eat in the hotel restaurants of Cala di Volpe, Pitrizza or Cervo.
For an evening aperitif, the Ginepro Bar has an intimate yet relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy a refreshing cocktail, whilst admiring the views over the Mediterranean.
For light bites, the snack service at the Beach bar is available until late afternoon and it also offers a beach service if the loungers prove to much of a distraction.
To see the area at its best, bicycles are available for hire and give guests the chance to enjoy the numerous tracks around the hotel, or along the coastline. The Pevero Golf Club is located a short drive away or if you want to try some watersports, enthusiasts will love the diving and water-skiing or if you prefer sailing the hotel has two Lasers which can be rented on request.

The setting of Romazzino is beautiful, the views on a clear sunny day are to die for and the terrace guests are escorted to on arrival is now known as the 'wow terrace'. The rooms are tastefully decorated in a subtle nautical theme with bright tones and comfortable furniture.
The selling point of this hotel, in addition to the views, has to be the beach, which is white and sandy with gently shelving entry and crystal-clear, turquoise water. The villas are hugely popular and require pre-booking a long time advance; they of course have the price tag to match and offer the most superior space and positions.
This hotel is excellent for families and the Children's 'Toy Club' on the beach front is open all day and evening so allows parents to use it on an ad hoc complimentary basis.
I highly recommend guests take out a boat on a half day or full day trip at least once during your holiday. The Sardinia coastline is all about the water and boat trips, there are many beautiful spots and the Costa Smeralda is dotted with islands and coves, perfect for exploration.
