Belmond Hotel Splendido Mare, sister hotel of Belmond Hotel Splendido, is situated along the Ligurian Coast and takes pride of place overlooking the famous harbour at Portofino. Many of the rooms at the hotel have private terraces facing onto the stunning port and are decorated in a traditional fresh and light northern Italian style.
The hotel features a Spa and Wellness area which offers a range of treatments and massages including facials, reflexology and yoga classes. The sauna and steam room are located in the picturesque surroundings of the hotel's garden, as are the heated saltwater swimming pool and tennis courts.
Belmond Hotel Splendido Mare has a signature restaurant, the Chuflay. It is the perfect place to view the fantastic scenery whilst sampling Mediterranean delights such as lobster, scampi and prawn salad, home-made tagliatelle and freshly caught fish, straight from the Mediterranean sea. For those who fancy something slightly lighter, or an aperitif before supper, the Chuflay Bar is also available until midnight each evening.
