Bali’s climate is warm and humid, temperatures averaging between 21°C and 31°C. Short bursts of rain occur from November until April, making the velvet green landscape come alive. April to October is the dry season, although in hilly Ubud, you rarely feel too hot.

Start your adventure amongst the rice terraces and jungles of Ubud in central Bali.There is so much to discover here, from visits to local medicine men and the colourful markets, to white water rafting, cycling through the paddy fields and learning how to cook authentic Indonesian cuisine at a cooking class.
Maybe you have older children who seek soft-adventure or a younger family that revels in the facilities of a luxury hotel, Ubud offers for all the family.. During your time in Ubud we have included a tour where you will have the opportunity to meet some local Balinese families. Explore scenic villages and learn about daily Balinese practices from ceremonies to rice farming before enjoying an exclusive lunch in the rice paddies surrounding Ubud. Spend the afternoon exploring the region and even traverse up the slopes of Mount Batur for spectacular views.

The second half of your Balinese family adventure takes you to Bali’s south coast for four nights in Jimbaran Bay. With safe, golden beaches and a fantastic array of restaurants, water-sports and activities to choose from, it is the perfect family beach destination.
Learn about Balinese culture and visit some of the islands most ornate temples or enjoy a local food tour. Partake in a guided tour of eastern Bali, relax on one of Jimbaran’s beaches, learn to surf or simply enjoy the facilities of your chosen family-friendly hotel.
