Canggu
From the sleepy surf town of the 1970s Canggu has grown into an achingly hip stretch of surf shacks, boutique hotels, trendy brunch joints and juice bars. This is the spot to roll from sunrise yoga class to smoothie bowl, to a lazy day spent on the beach, interspersed with delicious food and perhaps topped off with a hibiscus Martini as the sun dips over the ocean.
Life in Canggu is slow, with few demands beyond leaving the beach in time to make a spa treatment and deciding which cool cafe to try next. Stroll its chic boutiques and hang out with the in-crowd, dissecting the day’s waves and dancing the night away in the sultry tropical evening.
