Hotel Heliopic

Boasting stylish decor and modern comforts, the Heliopic Hotel is comprised of two four-storey wooden chalets in the centre of Chamonix. Just steps from the Aiguille du Midi Cable Car, the hotel is overlooked by the majestic Mont Blanc Mountain and has magnificent views across the Chamonix Valley and Northern Alps. The large lobby has several different hospitality areas including a complimentary tea and coffee station, dedicated children’s area with bean bags, sweets and popcorn, arcade games, library, lounge, bar, and restaurant, along with a ski shop. There is also a NUXE Spa for hotel residents over 13 years old.

The hotel offers both guestroom and apartment accommodation. Rooms feature modern and comfortable furnishings, with a grey and white palette, Wi-Fi, balcony, Nespresso machine, TVs with free VoD, safety deposit box, ensuite bathroom with NUXE bathing products and hairdryer. Superior Rooms feature a large armchair which converts to a child’s bed if required, while Family Rooms sleep up to four with a bunk bed alcove which can be curtained off. Trade up to a Privilege Room for views of the Dôme du Goûter, a living area and complimentary minibar.

The cosy apartments sleep between 2 and 7 guests. They each include a living room with sofa bed, equipped kitchen, wine cellar, Nespresso machine, Wi-Fi, Hi-Fi system, TVs with free VoD, ski room, bathroom with NUXE bathing products, robes, slippers, and hairdryer. There are also shared laundry facilities. Larger apartments include either two or three separate bedrooms and sofa bed in the living room.

An extensive breakfast buffet is available in the main dining room or can be enjoyed in your own room. In the evening, the hotel’s Akashon Restaurant offers a contemporary setting for relaxed dining, or head to the bar for cocktails and tapas. Cheese lovers can visit Frometon for traditional Savoyard specialities including fondue, raclette and tartiflette.

The NUXE Spa offers guests a superb multi-sensory experience and includes an indoor pool, ice cave, whirlpool tub, cold-water baths, hammams, sauna and tearoom. Massage and beauty treatments can also be booked.

Ideally placed for enjoying all the outdoor activities of the Chamonix region, the Heliopic is a 5-minute walk from the centre of town. If required, Scott Dunn can arrange private transfers from Geneva Airport, which take around 60-minutes by car. Helicopter transfers can also be arranged. Alternatively, the train journey from London takes around 9-hrs and usually involves two changes.
