Fenghuang Ancient Town

Often dubbed as the Phoenix Ancient Town, Fenghuang has been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2008. Boasting over 300 years of history, it is among China's best-preserved historical villages.
You will visit the Former Residence of Seng Congwen, which is a quintessential example of ancient Sothern courtyard house, as well as the Ancestral Hall of the Yang Family.
Afterwards, enjoy a rowing boat trip passing through the traditional Chinese wooden stilt houses known as Diaojiaolou, as well as the Rainbow Bridge (Hongqiao) which was built circa the Ming Dynasty.
Continue into the riverside as you stroll across the narrow streets. You will come across landmarks such as Tiaoyan (Leaping Stones), the primitive bridge near Beimen Matou (North Gate Pier) and Gucheng Qiangcheng (the Ancient Town Wall) at the south river between the North and East Gate,
