Ibera Wetlands
With 18,000-hectares of fertile forest, marsh and lagoons, the Ibera Wetlands are a rich habitat for pampas deer, monk parakeets, capybaras and collared peccaries, the latter hunted to near-extinction in the last century. This is a paradise for nature enthusiasts and bird watchers, a chance to observe male rheas, viscachas and howler monkeys in their natural environment.
Explore the Parana river by boat or kayak, head out on horseback in search of the park’s inhabitants or simply sit back on the veranda and listen to the call of the parakeets in the trees above.
