A good restaurant guide. Food is important to me and I like to try the best of what is local.

What's the best thing you've ever brought back from your travels?
A kitchen knife from Japan. Not only is it beautiful, it's practical as I use it every day.

What’s the most incredible natural phenomenon you have witnessed?
Bioluminescence in the Andaman Islands. Kayaking at night under a full sky of stars and the water below sparkling blue.
