As construction of the hotel is subject to the whims of Mother Nature, an exact time frame cannot be guaranteed, but the Ice Hotel usually remains open to guests from December through to April when the hotel closes to allow the thaw back into the River Thorne. The Treehotel is open all year round but is best visited either in winter to enjoy the best of the winter activities and to see the Northern Lights, or in spring when you can enjoy lovely walks along the Lule river and hiking in the surrounding areas.

The first stop of this once in a lifetime adventure is the iconic Ice Hotel. Remodelled each year from ice blocks garnered from the river Torne, ice sculptors are handpicked to design an art suite each. You will spend one night discovering the unique experience of sleeping on ice in one of the Ice Hotel's beautiful cold art suites and then move to one of the warm chalets or hotel rooms. A stunning insta-worthy haven, capture epic photos to share with all your friends at home!
Enjoy a one-of-a-kind dinner underneath the night sky at Ice Hotel's secluded wilderness camp. Your chef will serve up a delicious three-course dinner of local specialities while you relax on reindeer skins, looking out for the elusive Northern Lights, this is a unique one of a kind wilderness dinner. Your final leg of this Lapland adventure will take you to the cutting-edge Arctic Bath Hotel. A very unique floating hotel which is surrounded by water, freezing over in the winter. The central feature of the hotel is an open-air cold bath offering a refreshing antidote after experiencing the different saunas. Alongside the saunas you'll find treatments rooms, a lounge area, bar and restaurant. There are a range of treatment therapies including massages and cleansing and detox therapies.
