Mandalay Hill Resort is a great place from which to enjoy the city of Mandalay. Its towering height means that it offers guests wonderful views of the pagodas, Royal Palace and its moat and of course the hill itself - all the iconic scenes of the area.
You walk into the lobby area which is large and modern - the hotel seems to glow with lots of wood features and low level lighting creating a calm atmosphere. The outdoor pool and gardens are beautiful with lots of attention to detail. The staff here are true to their burmese culture as they are discreet, smiley and very helpful.
The outdoor Kinsana restaurant and theater is a fun way to spend your evening with a beautifully presented food buffet and dining tables set amongst the palm trees – a rather serene setting. However, if you want an evening of fine dining, Yadanabon Café can accommodate you.
There is a variety of rooms and suites on offer at Mandalay Hill Resort. The villas located in the spa area are particularly special as they offer more privacy, however they are without the views! Each category has something to offer whether it be extra space or a desired view.
