Nestled into the cliffs overlooking Santorini’s magnificent caldera, in the picturesque village of Imerovigli, the Iconic Santorini boutique hotel offers a charming home-away-from-home in the natural caves which once formed part of the village bakery.
Each of the hotel’s 24 cave rooms and suites have been elegantly finished with smooth white walls, and carefully furnished with light, natural tones and colorful textiles. Each room has its own outdoor area with table, chairs and two sunbeds, providing a wonderful breakfast spot each morning, and the perfect place to sit and enjoy the beautiful caldera views.
The Pergola Restaurant offers a daily changing menu which is prepared from ingredients bought fresh from the market, and guests are even able to request specific dishes in advance to create a fully personalized service. Guests will enjoy a delicious breakfast, served daily to their personal outdoor seating area, and freshly prepared Greek snacks can be requested throughout the day to be served to the terraces or the pool area.
The hotel’s infinity pool is the perfect place to relax with wonderful views out over the sparkling Aegean Sea. The hotel also boasts a small gym, treatment room and spa plunge pool for the use of those booking a treatment.
Imerovigli’s location towards the center of Santorini’s caldera provides views of both Oia to the north and Fira to the south. This peaceful village provides a welcome contrast from the bustling streets of Oia and Fira, whilst still being within a short taxi ride of both. For the more active, Oia and Fira are also accessible on foot along the beautiful walking path which runs along the coast of the caldera, and Skaros, a dramatic rocky outcrop located just in front of the hotel, can easily be climbed from here.
