The coastline around the sleepy town of Nosara is a stunning one, with a necklace of pristine beaches linked by jungle-clad coastal paths and pounded by a perfect wave that makes it a favoured spot for surfers. Tucked away from the real world, days in Nosara can be spent in idle contemplation, lazing on the beach, catching some waves, or listening to the birds in the trees.
For the more active, the surrounding jungle offers river kayaking, bird watching and nature walks through the nearby Nosara Nature Reserve.
