Big Island

Aptly named, Big Island is the largest of the Hawaiian islands and a land of superlatives with over half of the world’s 13 climate zones, the archipelago’s tallest volcanic mountains and some of its most dramatic lava trails. With much of the island given over to untamed wilderness, Big Island is a landscape of fine black sand beaches, glowing lava fields, smoking craters and tropical rainforest.
