Offering luxury self-catering holiday homes in a quiet area of rural Suffolk, Wildneress Reserve offers the perfect English countryside retreat for families, friends and couples. Aiming to re-define the holiday cottage rental market, each and every home within the reserve has their own individual style, and are attended to by a team dedicated to providing what Wilderness Reserve calls 'Old Fashioned Hospitality'. Free from the constraints of a normal hotel, guests are free to spend time as they please, with a number of indoor and outdoor activities offered on-site.
Opening over 20 years ago, Wilderness Reserve now comprises more than 13 properties across two separate estates, Sibton Park Estate and Chapel Barn Estate. Properties available include manors, farmhouses, barns and cottages. All homes are attended to by a team of housekeepers who travel between the houses by traditional Morris Minor car. Every property has a BBQ and pets are welcome, whilst many of the properties feature private pools and hot-tubs. Although primarily self-catering cottages, The Estate Kitchen at Wilderness Reserve has highly-trained in-house chefs available for private hire during your stay.
There is plenty to keep you busy during your stay at Wilderness Reserve. Every guest has access to complimentary bikes which can be used for gentle cycles through the vast 5,000 acre estate, woodlands and beyond. Guests also have complimentary access to Rowing Boats and Paddle Boards for use on Sibton Park Lake and there are also tennis court available for use. For an additional fee guests a huge variety of activities from archery, clay pigeon shooting and axe throwing to wine tasting and yoga. The estate is home to an array of wildlife including 125 species of birds, 23 butterflies and 33 mammals. Guests can arrange a wilderness walk with a guide to discover this local wildlife.
