The hotel has been converted from former Georgian Townhouses and the designers have been careful to maintain the elegant, original features of the buildings, which date back to 1775. The furnishings are all carefully-selected in muted tones creating an ambiance of class and sophistication.
The Printing Press Bar and Kitchen was once home to acclaimed novelist Susan Ferrier and it showcases the best of Scottish contemporary cuisine. If you are visiting on a Sunday, make sure to try a traditional Sunday Roast, a classic combination of roasted meats, potatoes, vegetables and lashing of gravy. The late-night cocktail bar offers an impressive collection of local spirits, including many different single malts and Edinburgh gin. The Burr &Co.
