Topkapi Palace was once the opulent residence of the Ottoman sultans and the political centre of the Empire, replete with magnificent collections of Chinese porcelain, Ottoman textiles, gold and jewels. In addition to its historical and architectural interest, it houses extraordinary collections of porcelains, armour, fabrics, miniatures, calligraphy, and many precious objects and works of art that once belonged to the sultans and their court.

Take a private cruise on the Bosphorus, famously marking the line where Asia and Europe meet and see the city's skyline from sea. Spend some time to do shopping at Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world with over 3,000 traditional shops to choose from! Conclude the evening with some local folklore and culture. Choose from either Whirling Dervish ceremony or a folkloric dance show which includes belly-dancing.

Please note, Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays and the Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays.
