Designed to blend in with the surrounding environment, Jabali Ridge has been built around a rocky kopje (collection of large granite boulders) with sweeping views over the Ruaha National Park. This is Ruaha's most luxurious safari lodge, and enjoys a prime position for game-viewing near the wildlife-rich Mwagusi river. There is a small spa where you can unwind after a day out on safari, and an infinity swimming pool with views over this beautiful park. Dining is a highlight, with three-course gourmet dinners served under the African sky each evening, fresh, light lunches and the choice of a bush picnic breakfast or brunch back at the lodge.
Ruaha is a wild and unspoilt park in southern Tanzania, with a wide range of wildlife to seek out on your safari. There are good numbers of big cats here, with regular sightings of lion prides, leopard and cheetah, as well as large herds of elephant and buffalo, and more unusual species such as roan antelope and sable. The guides at Jabali Ridge are some of Tanzania's finest, ensuring you maximise your experience here and see as much wildlife as possible. Safari activities include game-drives and night-drives in open-sided vehicles, and guided walking safaris which offer an entirely different perspective.
There are just ten suites here, each built in and around the kopje for ultimate privacy. With king sized beds, wooden floors, and views from every part of the suite out over the park, they are a stylish retreat where you can unwind after an exhilarating day on safari. Louvered shutters offer privacy or can be kept open. There are ensuite bathrooms with rain showers and outside each suite has a large deck with a sunken lounge - a perfect spot for a morning coffee before your first game drive of the day.
